Illustrated Chronology

Rus  Eng   De

"Illustrated Chronology" is a new illustrated format for presenting historical events and processes within a single timeline.

We are presenting a series of illustrated guides that highlight various sides and periods in the history of Russia.

This is the first time that readers will be introduced to Russian history in illustrated form. The scientific editing of the issues is conducted by leading historians.

The visual character of the presentation helps to juxtapose various historical events and processes of Russian history with the history of other European countries.

These publications will be of interest to schoolchildren and teachers for use in class and for preparation for the Russian Unified State Exam; to students and professional history teachers, as well as to all keen on history.

List of planned publications:

  • Medieval Rus'.
  • Russia in 1462-1917. From Tsardom to Empire.
  • The Birth of Russian Tsardom.
  • Russia in the Time of Troubles.
  • Russia Under the First of the Romanovs.
